The introduction of this mentorship group meets the needs of a growing concern in local, national, and international arenas. The primary objectives are to help students understand the concepts related to energy and to provide students with opportunities to convert energy into useful resources. Students will also have the opportunity to design basic systems utilizing AutoCad software. This hands-on, practical-based mentorship promises to engage the student learner in the process of scientific inquiry. The Renewable Energy Mentorship began in January of this year (2008).
