Ho‘olaulea Celebration for the whole community

Saturday, October 28, 2006

The ho‘olaulea was a blast for me because of the entertainment. Actually, I was part of the entertainment. First, I danced with my hula halau with Kumu Kaui Nakamura. We danced Auana and Kahikos. It was great! Then, I danced Tahitian for Aunty Sala. Entertaining is fun. The food was great. There were interesting sayings on stage. It was just great.

The ho‘olaulea was a great experience for me. Although I was in a group already, I learned about other things. I was planning on joining one of the mentorship programs again. I really liked it.
Royce Pasalo, 9th grade

The ho‘olaulea was fun! I went in the morning to set up and left a little early to cruise down at lighthouse but the time I spent there was a lot of fun!
Jeong Cho, 9th grade

I think the Ho‘olaulea was interesting. I had fun and I liked that they had their books in the Intergenerational Center. That's what I liked most about the Ho‘olaulea.
